Welcome to Quedgeley Carpets, based off Telford Way, Quedgeley, opposite the park & ride. We have a huge selection of flooring and carpets in stock as well as thousands of samples to choose from in our showroom.
Quedgeley Carpets is independently owned and can provide all kinds of flooring for tastes and budgets and will recommend the right range for your home. We cater for all, so if you’re a first time buyer, have a young family, a landlord or you just want to enjoy the finer things in life, we can help. We can also supply floor coverings for Educational, Retail, Leisure, Hospitality, Commercial, Health Care and Letting Agents/Property Management.
We have 200 rolls of carpet in stock at any one time with hundreds of room sized carpet remnants, vinyl flooring and a large selection of rugs. We have thousands of carpet samples from all the leading manufacturers so we are confident you will find what you’re looking for in our amazing showroom. We are also proud to say that we have the largest laminate and wood flooring showroom in Gloucestershire and a huge display of luxury vinyl tiles.

History
Quedgeley Carpets was opened by Wayne Leach & Richard Ogden in May 2013. Both former Carpetman employees, they have over 35 years combined experience in the flooring industry. They have built up a strong and loyal customer base in the Gloucestershire area by supplying a great reputation for good value and service. None of the sales team within the store work on a bonus or commission scheme, so all our customers get honest & impartial advice and are only sold flooring suitable for the job. Both Wayne & Richard are passionate about what they provide to their clients and both strongly believe ‘If it isn’t good enough for their home, it isn’t good enough for their customers!’. Every range at Quedgeley Carpets has been specially hand selected to guarantee customer satisfaction and value for money.
Wayne – Sales & Estimator
Wayne left St Peter’s R.C Sixth Form in 1999 and joined the team at Carpetman, Stonehouse. He accepted a job as a trainee flooring salesman and took to it like a duck to water. There isn’t much that Wayne doesn’t know about flooring and in 2005 was made manager of Carpetman, Gloucester. Due to Wayne’s knowledge and experience in the trade, he was offered a job as a sales representative working for the largest flooring wholesalers in Europe. He continued this role for 4 years and after driving thousands of miles covering the South West of England and selling flooring to the hundreds of retailer customers on his area, he joined Quedgeley Carpets when the doors opened in 2013.
Richard – Sales & Estimator
Richard joined the flooring industry in 2003 after previously being a store manager at JJB sports. He started at Carpetman, Stonehouse as a trainee estimator which later lead to a role in sales. It wasn’t long before Richard was in charge of dealing with the Property Management Companies and Letting Agents in the area. To this day, Richard is still very much involved with these customers and through the years has built up some very strong relationships. As well as Carpetman, Richard has also worked for Carpetgiant of Yate and Stroud Carpets building up a vast knowledge and using these experiences to provide an excellent customer service here at Quedgeley Carpets.
Ashley – Sales & Fitting
Ashley joined Quedgeley Carpets in 2014 as an employed carpet fitter/trainee salesman. He has been fitting carpets and vinyls for a number of years and is also a dab hand on a calculator too. Ashley started as an apprentice carpet fitter in 2006 at Carpetman, Stonehouse and has been friends with Wayne since the two met at primary school in the 1990’s. If Ashley is not out installing your new flooring he could be selling it to you.
